Gallery Blocks

What is a Gallery Block?

For those who want a finish with no glass, a gallery block is a giclée print, mounted inside a 40 mm deep frame with a slim 6 mm border around the photo.

A matt lamination film layer is added on top of the print, protecting it from dust and scratches. This enables you to clean the print by carefully wiping it with a damp cloth, without damaging the artwork.

We have chosen a black frame finish for all our gallery blocks, with an exception for ‘Red Limestone Bahrija’ with which a wood grain (wenge) frame complements more its prevailing orange hues.

We ship Gallery Blocks worldwide

Unlike a framed fine art print, a gallery block is much lighter as it has no glass which can break during handling. This makes it easier to ship and we are happy to finally give our international clients a product that they can receive ready to display on their walls.

How do I order a Gallery Block?

To order a gallery block from us is very easy. Here we will guide you through the process with a few simple steps:

  1. Browse our collections until you find a photograph that speaks to you, one that would compliment your home. Let's use our An Infinite Bond-panorama as an example.
  2. Enter the product page of your selected photograph, in our example this would be this page: An Infinite Bond.
  3. The next step is to select "Gallery Block" as your chosen method of framing. On the right side of the product page you'll find the drop-down menu named "Choose Frame or Gallery Block". Enter the menu and choose "Gallery Block – Black Frame".

As you can see in the image below, we have chosen "Gallery Block – Black Frame" as our preferred finishing option. However, the message we get is "Unavailable, please choose another size". The reason for this is that we have chosen to offer gallery blocks for larger sizes of prints.
  4. Choose a larger size using the drop-down menu "Print size". Try a larger size until the message changes to a price, as it has done in our example below. You are now ready to order this gallery block by pressing the green button "Add to cart", and then follow the check-out procedure.
